The following are photos of the Spirit of Washington dinner train, a similar train was operated by BC Rail made up of extra cars purchased from the Spirit of Washington dinner train. are now on both ends of the Seattle train so they do not have to turn the train for the return trip. Loco #84 on the Northbound trip with Observation car behind, loco #82 leads on return trip, great views from the Full length dome, and the shorter and more spacious small dome car.

View of the Amtrak Cascades train northbound White Rock B.C. you will note they have locomotives both ends of train so that it does not need to be turned, regular north bound locomotive is normally a gutted dummy used as a cab control car and there is no engine or power insides are used for baggage storage.
